Welcome to the Pinto Organization of Kentucky Website!!! 

The Pinto Organization of Kentucky (POOKy) was formed in 1990 to unite the owner's and admirers of these flashy horses suitable for all type of showing and pleasure riding.  POOKy has been recognized as an affiliate of the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. which registers Pinto miniature horses, ponies, and horses in four type divisions: STOCK (paint/quarter horse type); HUNTER (english-thoroughbred type); SADDLE (saddlebred, tennessee walking, and hackney type); and PLEASURE (arabian or morgan type).   PtHA approved shows offer classes for the different types.  Registered Pintos earn poinits in approved shows for awards in Register of Merit, Register of Excellance, PtHA Champion, Horse of the Year, to the covetes Legion of Merit.  These points are tabulated by PtHA automatically at no charge of the owner.   PtHA also has a very strong YOUTH and AMATUER progream, including show awards and national judging teams.
